Don’t Sabotage These 3 Things for Money

How important is money to you? That is a question that most people do not stop to ask themselves on a daily basis (or on any other basis for that matter)? Is money real to you or is it only a powerful illusion? Are you unmoved by money or is it your biggest motivator? These are all questions that we should be asking ourselves when it comes to the subject of money. Would you be willing to cause someone else to experience misfortune for the gain of monetary worth? Do you or would you work a job that you do not like to support yourself or your family? Would receiving a huge sum of money right now change a lot of bad circumstances in your life?

I ask you to ask yourself these questions so you can get to know who you are as a person who deals with money. If you have answered most of the questions I’ve asked in such a way that accredits importance on money, then you are very likely to sabotage the three things I’m going to discuss, or worse, you’ve already sabotaged one or more of the following things in your life.

  1. Your Passion – Your passion is the one thing that really, really drives you without regard to money. Anything that you constantly talk about doing or anything that gives you that surge of energy and hope is your passion. Passion is something that cannot be masked because it is pure. Money isn’t pure because it’s merely a tool and it can be the surface of underlying intentions, but true passion cannot be corrupted. The only reason one’s passion for money can be corrupted is because the attainment and accumulation of money is no real passion because the money itself has no value whatsoever. It’s the context in which money is traded is the only place that true passion can reside. Ultimately, turning your back on your passion for money is like turning your back on your passion for pieces of paper torn from a notebook. Money is only valuable in its context, but the money itself isn’t valuable and that is the concept that keeps many folks enslaved for monetary worthlessness. Working a job that you dread just for the next paycheck (even if you have to support your family) is being enslaved for monetary worthlessness. I realize that many people need their jobs because they have important children (children are always important in my opinion) to feed, bills to pay, desires to be bought, etc., but a person shouldn’t have to suffer for abundance and prosperity because it can be attained happily and I’m willing to fight for my passion just on the basis that there’s a possibility to be wealthy without weariness. You don’t have to do something that you don’t like for a buck or some other futile thing in which you feel a need to cling to for a supposedly good life because happiness in a living (or supporting yourself and your family through a passion) is possible and I’m willing to have faith and fight on that possibility alone! If you need your dreaded job, then plan a means to an end because it does no one any good to live outside of their life purpose.
  2. Your Plans – Don’t let a lack of money put a strife on your plans. If you have big plans to pursue and live your passion, then don’t let your current not-so-favorable financial situation stop you from living your passion. Where there’s a will, there’s definitely a way! Many people go around speaking of how they can’t do this and they can’t do that because they do not have enough money or they can’t afford it. Instead of talking about how you can’t afford something, talk about ways in which you can acquire the money to afford something. Ask yourself, “How am I going to come up with the money for this?” You should actively seek for ways to come up with the money to go through with your plans that will ultimately allow you to live your passion. A lack of money should not hold you back by whatsoever, especially when you’re already so damned rich! I know a rich person when I see one and his or her financial status means absolutely nothing in my determining if a person is rich or not rich. Wealth extends far, far beyond financial means. I’m a man of faith because faith is everything! Faith is the first step to all greatness, abundance, and success. In times of doubt, evict fear and let faith be your new tenant! I’d even go as far as letting faith live rent-free because I know it’s going to give me a gazillion times the rent I could possibly charge it!
  3. Your Character — This is the last, but most important thing I’m going to cover in this list. Never let money cause you to walk away from who you truly are. A legacy marked solely by financial gain is not really a legacy, but a legacy marked by actions of your character that’s aligned with your plans to live your passion is a genuine legacy. However you want to be remembered is ultimately up to you, but I’d never want to be remembered by fear of not having enough money or by the greed of wanting more and more money because money is so worthless. What took place around your money is what builds up your character, but the money itself does not. Don’t let something so futile as money shape your character, but instead let your powerful consciousness by way of your plans and passion create a gateway for your success (financial and in spirit). Money doesn’t determine what you mean to it, but you determine what money means to you!
