If you want to succeed, then you have to start living as if you already are whatever it is you aspire to be. Stop aspiring, aiming, and longing to become something great and just be it already. As a human being, you tend to get caught in this trap of proclaiming that all of your negative life circumstances will cease to exist once you are actually what you aspire to be, but this is not the case. Your negative circumstances in life may begin to decline once you become someone better than who you currently are, but you must first change yourself before your circumstances can change. Problems will always be prevalent in your life, so do not limit yourself to being who you want to be until the day you have no problems because that day never comes for a successful person.
You love to aspire to be something, instead of actually being it. Why is that? Is not that a limitation within itself? Deep down in your mind on a subconscious level you know that doing it will actually require at least a modicum of thought and action and that is not something you are ready to handle. It is perfectly okay to not be ready to undertake something new, but get it burnt into your brain (as my junior high wrestling coach used to always say) that as long as you are not ready to undertake a great task, you are not ready for great success.
The message I would love to get across to you by composing this rather short article is that you have to start being whatever it is you want to be right now without regard to your current circumstances. If you want to be the great writer, then proclaim your title and start writing until your mind gets really tired. If you want to be the extremely good athlete, then proclaim your status and start working your butt off to be the best in your sport. Words like aspire, aim, long, wannabe, newbie, amateur, and so on are mere dream killers and those words do not even belong in the successful person’s vocabulary when speaking of oneself. Stop being a coward and be what you want to be already!
