You’re ready to rock and roll! You’re overly and overtly pumped up for a new existence, a new adventure, a new endeavor, and a new meaning for your life! The struggle that lay ahead for you doesn’t even phase you at this point because you’re ready to rock the hell out of this planet with your passion and trust in yourself and you just know that you can achieve that which you set your mind to. Obstacles? Who gives a damn, you’re ready to run those bitches over! This is how everyone feels at the beginning of an amazing journey; it’s almost as if you could take on the entire world singlehandedly.
As the months go by your optimism and your passion for your dream slowly begin to diminish and you know it and it’s the worst feeling that could ever be served up to anyone. What was once living out your passion has become a bloody, head-on struggle between you and adversity! You were once a lively little animal who loved your new business, your new athletic goals, or in essence, your new challenge, but all of that fervor started to diminish and turn into a passion that went amiss once the battle fatigue started to kick in.
Battle fatigue is when you’re fighting for your dream but you’re not even remotely achieving it and you grow tired of fighting, fighting to keep the possibility of your passionate dream manifesting into your reality. You get up every day and work your ass off, but you never seem to be closer to your dream and frankly, you feel that quitting would be a better option than perseverance. And if you wanna live each day knowing that you wrote off your dreams because you were not strong enough to achieve them, then go ahead and quite!
I wish I had some grandeur personal development tip to help you combat battle fatigue, but I have absolutely nothing of that nature. Well, that bit about having absolutely nothing isn’t entirely true because the best thing you could do when faced with battle fatigue is trust yourself because that is one character trait that all successful people have in common. That’s all I’ve got. Fortunately, the only way around battle fatigue is to actually achieve your goals. I believe that battle fatigue is one of those things in life that separates the weak who do not achieve from the strong who get to advance in life. Battle fatigue is the focal tell-tale period of time that determines who’s going to be a success story. Besides trusting yourself, another piece of sound advice that I can give you to combat battle fatigue is to find a reason that means a lot to you as to why you must succeed! Lastly, if you’re not experiencing battle fatigue, then your goals are not big enough!
